Duchess, feel the constant need to be slimmer?
Guess common feeling. We are conversing with a nutritionist who, from personal experience, has transitioned into a coach in well-being and slimming without drama.
1. Evelina, why did you become a nutrition trainer and nutrition behavior specialist? How did the idea come to combine the desired education, health and art fields when to become a nutrition trainer and nutrition behavior specialist?
I’ll start with the fact that I myself struggled with weight as much as I can remember. I am a pilot of the diet and nutrition system, have mastered several applications for diet control and have accumulated a considerable amount of knowledge in the field of nutriciology and nutrition psychology. And I have been interested in psychology since adolescence and have been working in the field of self-knowledge, emotional intelligence development and personal growth for several years, applying the method of art therapy.
Many women have had to accompany their transformation processes, many changes have taken place and many, but I have not been left feeling that I have to somehow combine my activities, combine information and knowledge, because a holistic approach is very important. I searched, attended various trainings, met a lot of interesting people who inspired me. And here I once came across the term “food coaching”.
I started digging deeper and realized - yes! - this is exactly what I was looking for. I assist women in losing weight and improving their overall well-being without strict diets.
2. What is your agenda? What are the basic rules of eating, physical activity, leisure time? What was your personal journey to such a lifestyle?
My morning starts with a light breakfast and sports, then my working hours: I have individual consultations, I run a course of conscious eating, I keep in very close contact with my participants, I conduct group art therapy several times a month, a couple of hours. I devote a week to science and personal growth, and I leave the evenings mostly to family and loved ones.
I have morning and evening rituals that help me stay in a resource state, I share that with women who turn to me. I can’t imagine my life without training, even though my physical education teacher would be in shock, and my mother still can’t be surprised - as a child I was a completely unsportsmanlike child and all those activities drove me to despair. But the desire to look beautiful led me to the gym and at first I had to translate myself into sports, everything quickly woke me up, there was no motivation. I searched for a long time, tried various activities until I finally discovered what gave me joy and pleasure.
It has become my credo - everything has to be done consciously, out of love for yourself, because you are the most important person in your life, it is with him that you spend the most time and you can take the best care of yourself. I am also guided by this philosophy when choosing food and recreation. So the basic rule of eating, physical activity and rest is knowing why you are doing it, what your desires are the foundation of your lifestyle.
3. What do you do when circumstances seem to prevent you from following the plan? What percentage of your lifestyle / serious holdings and what percentage do you leave to self-sufficiency?
It took me a lot of time and effort to learn how to plan and manage my time, I often felt like I was trying to catch a moving train. Quarantine made it possible to understand and distinguish what is most important, no matter how banal it may sound.
I always answer in my mind the question - what can I control and change when needed, and what do I just have to accept and run. Another thing that helps me a lot, even in very difficult situations, is acceptance - I just tell myself that everything that happens to me happens in the best possible way for me.
4. What does awareness, conscious consumption mean to you? A conscious woman ... (extend the thought).
Being conscious means to me the ability to be here and now, to notice the details, to enjoy the moment and the simple things. Consciousness is the basis of harmony with oneself and with the world around us, and it is an opportunity to separate and get rid of the unnecessary and the insignificant.
A conscious woman understands her true wants and needs, enjoys life, can afford to eat a piece of cake or drink a glass of wine and live without guilt, she values authenticity, openness and authenticity and wears only those clothes where felts great.
5. Family, society and your personal goals - do you manage to live in constant harmony with yourself and the world? What are your challenges?
I, like most women, face many challenges in reconciling social roles - being a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a specialist, a friend, and so on. I have only recently realized, I have become more aware of a very important thing - all the answers are within us, we just need to rely on intuition and listen to ourselves.
I’ve been constantly asking myself lately, do I want that, or is what I’m doing now important? And yes, sometimes you have to choose between personal goals and family desires, balance and find the best solution. When people talk openly and sincerely when dialogue takes place, then things are much simpler than they may seem. I am very grateful to have a very strong support and understanding in my family. I really very lucky woman.
